According to our philosophy, footwear should adapt to the foot, not vice versa. Therefore, designers and orthopaedic specialists thoroughly assist our product development, whose collaboration creates products that fulfil both aesthetic and functional criteria. We also involve the medical staff in our research to improve the products and gather patient feedback.
In addition, we aim to be a total supplier, creating a wide range of products that meet most of our customers' needs.

Klaveness board is constituted by Bjørn Klaveness (Chairman), Kristian Klaveness, Mina Klaveness and Bjarte Røyrvik.

COMFORT: Comfort is a meaningful Klaveness collection designed for daily life. Aiming for perfect fit, comfort and taste, it combines high-quality materials with top handcraft, providing your feet with excellent footwear.
SLIPPERS: Slippers are considered the most comfortable footwear. At Klaveness, we take this seriously, using high-quality, natural materials such as wool felt, fur, and leather and a unique construction.
BUNAD: We are proud to dedicate a line to the best of Norwegian tradition. For years, we have designed and manufactured bunad shoes for our quality-conscious customers. Our Bunadsko is the obvious accessory for any bunad and party dress.

MEDICAL: This collection is made specifically for those who can't find a shoe in standard mass-produced stores or look for added comfort and flexibility. Medical and Rehabilitation shoes are based on special lasts and made from the finest materials, so your feet can have absolute well-being.
REHABILITATION: Specifically for prevention, rehabilitation and treatment, this range includes many styles and different features, so you can find the shoe that matches your needs. Our goal is to give the most comfort, regardless of medical condition.
CUSTOM-MADE FOOTWEAR: With the customer at the centre of the process, this hand-made personalized footwear category offers the best variety for those with therapeutic or orthopaedic demands or specific aesthetic desires.
Based on any Klaveness style or customers' designs, we build each shoe according to the wearer's foot, taste, shape, size, or other particular needs. We are skilled in blending in these modifications so that they are discreet.
CUSTOM-MADE FOOT ORTHOTICS: Footbeds can also be customised according to individual needs to help manage conditions that can cause pain or discomfort during walking, running and everyday activities.

WHERE WE ARE
Our head office is in Sandefjord (Norway). We have sales offices in Jyväskylä (Finland) and Strömstad (Sweden). The distribution centre and our fully-owned production facility are in Porto (Portugal).
Our most significant success has been in Scandinavia, with Norway and Sweden being the main markets. However, more recently, Finland has also grown to become a high-interest market.
We continuously seek to conquer new strategic business fields, markets and target groups.
