Store your shoes in a shoe bag, protecting them from dust.

EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR NEW BUNAD SHOES

Leather shoes become stiff and dull from dust and water. Therefore, to maintain their best performance and appearance, they must be protected.
Use a shoe brush to remove excess dust and dirt before you start polishing.
Apply the shoe polish or cream evenly with a brush or soft cloth. Test the cream on a hidden area first, so you can see the effect on the shoe colour.
Once the polish has dried, buff to a brilliant shine using a natural bristle brush.
Use shoe protector products to help waterproof your shoes and to protect them from common stains caused by mud, dust, water or snow.
Wet shoes should be washed with clean water before they are set to dry, preferably stuffed with newspaper or tissue. Never dry or store leather shoes near direct heat. Drying should take place at normal room temperature before placing them in the shoe bag.
Store leather shoes using a shoe tree, to help keep their shape. If you can't use a shoe tree, stuff the toe cap with newspaper or tissue.
Good luck with your new Klaveness shoes!
