You should measure both feet (as most people have one foot larger than the other), and at the end of the day (as they are usually slightly larger). Please don't forget that length is only one dimension and feet are three-dimensional, so width and thickness should also be considered.

HIKER ORTHOTIC :: The Hiker Orthotics last is an orthotic version of normal Hiker last and is used for making shoes and boots. The last is similar to the standard Hiker, however, the short heel and the instep have been increased to have the room for orthotics. The heel and bottom shape is also straighter on this last. Hiker Orthotic is an L width last.
UPPER
NUBUCK :: Nubuck is a top-grain leather that has been slightly brushed on the surface to create a fine velvety silky-soft and flexible surface, with a matter feel and warm grip.
TEXTILE :: Textile is breathable and lightweight, and can be made of natural or synthetic materials.
LINING
TEXTILE :: Synthetic lining is made of porous, breathable material that allows airflow. The major advantage is it dries quickly and is easy to care for.
This feature adds functionality to the Velcro® strap by returning it through a metallic loop. This loop acts as a pulley system, absorbing force in friction around the tight bend, resulting in reinforced closure and optimised adjustment.
PATENTED ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM FOR VELCRO WITH RETURN
This patented system, developed by Klaveness, is available in a wide range of stock footwear and can be used in orthopaedic styles.
To broaden the extension of adjustment, we offer extra-long cuttable Velcro straps. After setting the desired length, the unused part of the strap must be cut off, resulting in nicely finished ending seams.
CLICK TO SEE THE INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
Insert the wooden stick in the "adjustment tunnel".
Push and pull the strap until adjusted to the desired length.
Test the adjustment by placing the strap in place. Remove the stick.
Cut off the excess Velcro.
It's ready to use!
If, by accident, the strap goes out of the "adjustment tunnel":
Attach the stick to the rough side of the Velcro.
Insert the strap into the "adjustment tunnel" using the wooden stick as a guide and pull it back in.
