BOA® is a dial-based performance fit system. It is easy to use.
It is custom-built and contains three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial, super-strong lightweight laces, and low friction lace guides. It is engineered to optimize fit and provide precision, adaptability and control.
LAST
THOR :: Thor is a classic men's last for shoes and boots, and one of the most popular lasts in Klaveness. In FIA, Thor is available in 3 different widths and one special version with standard width and narrow heel.
UPPER
NAPPA :: Durable and protective, leather is a soft, natural material that is both, breathable and insulating.
SPLIT VELOUR :: Split velour is real leather hide splited and treated in order to achieve the smoothness and look of velour.
WAXED NUBUCK :: Developed by Klaveness, this waxed nubuck has a slightly brushed surface and is drummed with scotchgard and grease, which results in a water-resistant, durable, soft and comfortable material.
LINING
TEXTILE :: Synthetic lining is made of porous, breathable material that allows airflow. The major advantage is it dries quickly and is easy to care for.
Footwear equipped with these lightweight component soles has their weight substantially reduced and is generally a good option for summer and outdoor activities and day-to-day use.
REMOVABLE FOOTBED
Footbeds are essential in creating comfortable shoes and providing cushion, comfort, and moisture management.
Removable footbeds are particularly beneficial for those needing custom-made foot orthotics. They can also be detached for airing and replaced with a new pair when they wear out.
BOA® FIT SYSTEM
BOA® is an instant, single-handed, fine-tuning closure system that optimises fit and provides precision and control. It is an alternative to traditional shoelaces.
It delivers a smooth and even closure whilst minimising pressure points.
