ORTHO :: Ortho is a classic women's last for shoes and boots and one of the most popular lasts in Klaveness MSS. Ortho has a wide ball area and a toe shape that allows us to make commercial designs. In FIA, Ortho is available in 3 different widths and one special version with standard width and narrow heel. Ortho is an L width.
SOLE
RUBBER :: Rubber has excellent ground traction and is a non-marking, long-lasting material that enhances the shoe durability and longevity.
UPPER
WAXED LEATHER :: Leather with a waxed surface, which results in a water-resistant and durable material.
LINING
FELT :: Felt is made of wool or fur fibres, matted together and rolled flat.
Zippers, which consist of two tracks of metal teeth that interlock via a central pulley, are always the right solution for those who have difficulties fastening footwear. They simplify and speed up taking off and putting on shoes, allowing the exact fit each time.
BELLOWS TONGUE
A Bellows Tongue is a large folding tongue permanently attached to the top and sides of the shoe upper. It protects from snow, water, and sand while increasing insulation.
